My son recently started Kindergarten and we never leave the house until we have eaten breakfast.  Although, I would let him leave the house before eating breakfast if I knew he would be eating breakfast at school.  What a time saver and stress reliever that would be.  Unfortunately, the school my son attends doesn’t have a school breakfast program “yet!”  I sure wish they did and I will be working on it.  The good news is that there are many resources (money, etc.) for

Gardening Dilemmas

We’ve had record rain and record heat—and it’s only July 1.  As with everything in life—it’s always something!  Last week we discussed fertilizer.  To demonstrate how plants take up fertilizer and nutrients, the children made dots with markers on paper towels, and then they placed the end in a small bowl of water to watch the colors rise.  It was an extremely simple way to demonstrate this principle.
