Yeah, it's blue bag day!!! If you are not familiar with Nutrition Know How, blue bag day is the day that I get the CSA bag from one of my fellow bloggers and make the trip to Wenninghoff's to pick up my bag of goodies to try out some new recipes using the locally grown produce available that week. Community Supported Agriculture

We are excited to launch our new Nutrition Know How web site design and we welcome input on increasing the ease of use, article ideas, etc. During the growing season we will be highlighting how to prepare, cook and store in-season fresh produce from a local Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program. Refreshing Healthy Recipes

By: Joanna Gregg, UNL Dietetic Intern During my time at UNL Extension I had the opportunity to teach clients at the Kountz Memorial Lutheran Church food pantry. The recipe was a way to teach about in season fresh fruits and vegetables and allow people to try them in a way they may not have tried on their own.  I make two recipes a quick salsa and salad. These recipes are a great way to use fresh ingredients with minimal preparation time and zero cooking!     Summer Corn
