Hand to Hand Combat with Germs!

Flu season has arrived a little early this year. We once worried about just the common cold. Now we also have to think about H1N1 and Norovirus. It doesn’t matter what virus we are talking about, all can be decreased by a few basic actions. First, wash your hands–often! Try and wash them at least before meals and after using the restroom. Second, sneeze into your elbow. This will keep germs off of your hands, where you are able to spread them to others. Never sneeze into the air–you could infect an entire room full of people with just one sneeze! Finally, take care of yourself. Stay home when you are sick. Stay hydrated and decrease your stress levels. Also, sanitize areas at home, especially if someone is ill. This will decrease the chances of you getting ill.
Here are a few resources to use in your battle against germs!
