amazing how fast my daughter got the hang of trick or treating.\u00a0 My oldest probably didn\u2019t have a piece of candy until he was two years old but it is a different story with my daughter.\u00a0 I\u2019m afraid all she\u2019ll ever want to eat after Halloween is candy.\u00a0 So now I\u2019m trying to figure out what to do with all of the candy.\u00a0 I found some great ideas.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Donate it.\u00a0\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.coolmompicks.com\/2009\/11\/donating_extra_halloween_candy.php\"> Click here to learn how to\u00a0donate to our troops, the Ronald McDonald House, and food pantries.\u00a0 <\/a><\/li>\n<li>Sell it to Dentists.\u00a0 We did this last year and my son was so happy to get a free tooth brush, sticker, and money in exchange.\u00a0 <a <\/a><\/li>\n<li>Create Art.\u00a0 Make mosaics out of the hard candy.\u00a0 Have a best candy sculpture contest.\u00a0 Or make candy jewelry such as necklaces or bracelets.<\/li>\n<li>Save it for Christmas.\u00a0 Freeze the chocolate and use it for your holiday baking.\u00a0 Or use it to decorate a ginger bread house.<\/li>\n<li>Make it Nutritious.\u00a0 Okay so this isn\u2019t a calorie free option but I\u2019m not one to deprive myself of some candy.\u00a0 This is a way to make a \u201cwell rounded\u201d snack.\u00a0 Make a snack mix using foods you have on hand:\u00a0 cereal, nuts\/seeds, dried fruit, pretzels, and mix it with a little bit of candy.\u00a0 It makes a great midday or after school snack.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This year
