{"id":2027,"date":"2010-03-09T15:00:40","date_gmt":"2010-03-09T21:00:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/nutritionknowhow.org\/wordpress\/?p=2027"},"modified":"2013-08-21T20:55:41","modified_gmt":"2013-08-21T20:55:41","slug":"what-nebraska-dietitians-are-saying","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nutritionknowhow.org\/blog\/e\/what-nebraska-dietitians-are-saying\/","title":{"rendered":"What Nebraska Dietitians Are Saying"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I often start my nutrition classes by saying, &#8220;Don&#8217;t worry; I am not the food police.&#8221;\u00a0 I want people to\u00a0enjoy all types of food!\u00a0 I asked dietitians from across Nebraska, \u201cIf you could give one message regarding food and nutrition, what would it be?\u201d\u00a0 I was impressed and inspired by everyone\u2019s responses. \u00a0Their messages convey the importance of enjoying food and simplify the definition of healthy eating.<\/p>\n<p>My message may not be as well spoken as those listed below but I believe that eating nutritiously doesn\u2019t have to be hard.\u00a0 There are many misconceptions about what \u201chealthy\u201d eating really means.\u00a0 Have your cake and eat it too, \u201call foods fit.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Thank you Nebraska dietitians for all of your input!<\/p>\n<p>Eat Smart<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Try to focus on the foods that have a purpose and actually do the body good and help nourish the body.<\/li>\n<li>Eat to live!
