(I bet there\u2019s a recipe for that in my files!)<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nutritionknowhow.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/2015-02-23-15.16.51.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.nutritionknowhow.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/2015-02-23-15.16.51-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"2015-02-23 15.16.51\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Last week I spent a lot of time waiting for a flight, so I perused the general Pinterest site.\u00a0 What I found was interesting\u2014people want to make bread from scratch, but do not want to go through the entire kneading event or even the bread machine route.\u00a0 I found a recipe that I saved on how to bake a loaf of bread on your grill in an iron skillet.\u00a0 I saved it, as who doesn\u2019t want fresh bread in the summer, without heating up the house!\u00a0 The other recipe I found was one you cook in your Dutch Oven.\u00a0 I have a beautiful Red Dutch Oven just like the picture!\u00a0 It is a Le Creuset.\u00a0 I believe it makes me a better cook!\u00a0 It was a birthday gift from my husband!\u00a0 I love it.\u00a0 If you are a foodie\u2014kitchen gifts are the best!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nutritionknowhow.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/2015-02-23-15.19.50.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/www.nutritionknowhow.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/2015-02-23-15.19.50-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"2015-02-23 15.19.50\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I digress.\u00a0 This recipe looked simple\u2014mix, let sit overnight, then place in the hot Dutch Oven and bake.\u00a0 Wow\u2014so easy.\u00a0 So I made it.\u00a0 Oh goodness\u2014was it good!\u00a0 The outside was very crispy and brown, and the inside was airy and oh so soft!\u00a0 It was just screaming to be eaten!\u00a0 I didn\u2019t follow the recipe completely, as I ground up my rosemary in my coffee grinder.\u00a0 I do not like to chew whole pieces of rosemary.\u00a0 It worked well, except it made the loaf look kind of grey inside.\u00a0 It still tasted wonderful!\u00a0 I am thinking of experimenting with garlic and other herbs.\u00a0 If you have a minute\u2014give this a try\u2014it is well worth your time!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nutritionknowhow.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/Rosemary-bread.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.nutritionknowhow.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/Rosemary-bread-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"Rosemary bread\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h2><\/h2>\n<div class=\"easyrecipe\" data-rating=\"#rating#\">\t<link itemprop=\"image\" href=\"http:\/\/www.nutritionknowhow.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/Le-Creuset.jpg\" \/>\n<div class=\"item ERName\">Rosemary Sea Salt Dutch Oven Bread<\/div>\n<div class=\"ERClear\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"ERHead\"><span class=\"xlate\">Recipe Type<\/span>: <span class=\"type\">Bread<\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"ERHead\">Author: <span class=\"author\">Becky Hardin &#8211; The Cookie Rookie<\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"ERHead\">Serves: <span class=\"yield\">8<\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"ERIngredients\">\n<div class=\"ERIngredientsHeader\">Ingredients<\/div>\n<ul class=\"ingredients\">\n<li class=\"ingredient\">\u25fe3 cups all-purpose flour<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">\u25fe1\u00be tsp sea salt<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">\u25fe\u00bd tsp active dry yeast<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">\u25fe1\u00bd cups room temperature water<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">\u25fe\u00be cup chopped fresh rosemary<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"ERInstructions\">\n<div class=\"ERInstructionsHeader\">Instructions<\/div>\n<div class=\"instructions\">\n<ol>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Instructions<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">In a large bowl mix flour, sea salt and yeast together. Mix in the water and use a spatula to blend until well combined.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Cover the bowl and allow to sit on the counter overnight, at least 12 hours. (patience is a virtue!)<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Preheat oven to 450 F degrees. While oven is heating, place your Dutch Oven in the oven to allow it to preheat as well.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Remove pot from oven and remove the lid from it.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Flour your work surface as well as hands. Remove your dough from the bowl and form into a ball. This is a no knead recipe, but you may have to fold it a couple times to get it to form the shape you want. Place the dough into the bottom of your Dutch Oven (be careful not to burn your hands, the cast iron will be HOT!)<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Bake for 30 minutes with the lid on, then remove the lid and bake another 15-20 minutes until the bread is golden brown.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Remove from the oven and allow to cool. Cut and serve!
