Nutrition Know How

Cindy
Cindy has been in the nutrition field since 1989.  She has a  Master of Science degree in Home Economics with a major in Community Nutrition.  She also has a Bachelor of Science degree in Home Economics with a major in Dietetics.  Cindy specializes in food safety and teaches health and wellness classes to participants of all ages.

Nancy
Nancy brings twenty years of Food Safety and Nutrition experience to the UNL Extension Service. She holds a degree in Family Consumer Science and Secondary Education from Wayne State College. She is an Extension Associate Assistant for the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Nancy works with both adults and youth in the areas of food safety and nutrition.

Carrie
Registered Dietitian with a Master degree in Nutritional Science and Dietetics and a certified personal trainer through American Council on Exercise.  Employed by the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Extension Nutrition Education Program teaching limited resource audiences.  Special interest in prenatal nutrition, child nutrition, and physical activity.

Joan
Registered Dietitian with a Master of Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Employed by the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Extension Nutrition Education Program to help families establish healthy eating practices.  Member of the American Dietetic Association, the Omaha District Dietetic Association, the Weight Management Dietetics Practice Group, and the Society for Nutrition Education.  Special interests include overweight/obesity, feeding families on a budget, and basic cooking.

Audra
Registered Dietitian with a Masters degree in Community Nutrition and Health Promotion and dual Bachelor degrees in Exercise Science and Dietetics. Employed by the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Extension Nutrition Education Program teaching limited resource families in Douglas and Sarpy counties about healthy eating on a budget. She’s especially interested in teaching kids about food and nutrition, and connecting with parents to improve the health of the whole family.
